High schooler Yugi Muto and his friends become embroiled in a deadly match of Duel Monsters when champion Seto Kaiba kidnaps Yugis grandfather.
I do hear that this series gets better in the latter half, so maybe I'll go back and see. The third season of the anime series Yu-Gi-OhDuel Monsters, created by Kazuki Takahashi, was originally broadcast from March 12, 2002, to February 11, 2003.The English adaptation, broadcast on Kids WB, aired from Novemto September 4, 2004. With his friends and an ancient spirit, young Yugi Muto battles wealthy Maximillion Pegasus for his grandfathers soul in the card game Duel Monsters.
Conceptually it was cool, but I had a hard time with the protagonist. Zexal - Admittedly I only watched, maybe the first half of this series. Yu-Gi-Oh has an incredibly long history, having been around for over 20 years and showing no signs of slowing down. The game is constantly evolving, from new mechanics to entirely new rules to how the game itself plays. The Noah Arc, and Enter the Dragon's were probably the weakest (though as a kid I loved them).
Battle City takes the rein as MVP of probably all the series. And while classic, Duelist Kingdom is kinda weak. Unfortunately I didn't care for the final season. yugioh season zero yugioh season 0 yugioh dm Yugioh Ygo traditonal art deer skull Atem yami yugi. I am supposed to be doing my finial Archaeology essay ahah. Everything up till now has been really close in my eyes, and the original anime just falls slightly behind. Back on my Yugioh bullshit again ahah, spent the whole time listening to the album Trench by Twenty One Pilots specifically the song Nico and the Niners. Unfortunately the end was lack-luster, though the idea of all of Yuya's friends trying to defeat him was pretty sweet.ĭM - While this is ranked lower, this doesn't mean that I think it's bad. Having the main characters being split between the 4 dimensions, and each one having their own main card, arc-type, personality, etc. I love the idea of multiple dimensions, and having Duel Academy (of all places) Invading them. Yugioh 5Ds has the best set of main characters WHO ALL have a purpose to the. Had a great premise and a great core of characters.Īrc-V - Just started watching this a year ago (and finished it quick). Yes Im being serious when I say Yugioh 5Ds is definitely the best Yugioh series. Well defined stakes for our main characters, and showed the adult side of the game with it's themes. That being said, I understand why this isn't generally ranked high on the lists of other's.ĥD's - Great show, Great Protagonist. It also ended with one of the most epic duels in Yu-Gi-Oh, with Yugi’s epic 100 LP vs. This arc had some great moments, including a new format for Duel Monsters where each character got to use their ace monster’s special ability to spice the duel up. As I got older, I discovered the final season which clinched it as my all time favorite. RELATED: Yu-Gi-Oh: 10 Relationships That Changed The Series Forever. GX - I was the right age to really appreciate this when it was first Dubbed.
